PokemonLynx

It's been an exciting year for Pokemon, with Pokemon Go being a huge phenomenon and Sun and Moon just around the corner. We want to join in the fun by  inviting you to adapt your CS character(s) into Pokemon Trainers! Are they successful? Are they really bad at it? Are they a new adventurer sent out by Professor Star (The Lady of the Stars), about to challenge the league champion, or taking on contests? Just want to tell us about their favorite Pokemon? That all sounds great!

Lynx is a traveling nurse by trade. She travels all over in search of better medicine and researching more efficient methods of application as well as keeping it cost efficient for anyones budget. If she sees an injured pokemon in the wild she will always tend to it (Even if she has been attacked in the process, though rare) and even help travelers such as a nice older man with with a rare Rotom. She loves any and all pokemon, carrying a variety of treats with her to make friends with them all. When she is not traveling, Lynx likes to help out at her big brother Kalli's place giving classes about first aid for his students. Lynx commonly sends in all her research to professor Star in hopes they can find a highly effective, low-cost medicine that is available to anybody. She does not do battle with any of her pokemon unless its absolutely neccessary, and most times her Luxray will quickly step up to the plate in order to protect her. However, she is always willing to enter most of her pokemon into pageants.

Some special people in her life: (Let me know if you want to be added!)
Jia: One of her best friends, these two occassionally travel together and enjoy each others company. They have entered pageants together, though Jia questions how Lynx's Espurr Yggdrasil ever won a beauty pageant when all he did was stare at the audience.

Roh: Lynx came upon Roh on accident when she was traveling between towns, spotting a blind Bidoof took off from the beaten path and made the young nurse chase after it deep into the dark woods. She noticed the shadowed creatures following her but paid no mind with älskling (Her Luxray) following her. Lynx eventually ran into a very grumpy Roh who wanted to know what she was doing there. Despite his attitude, she proceeded to attempt to make friends with the tall hermit as they mended the injured pokemon together. It broke her heart when she discovered he lived alone and started visiting every time she traveled through the area; often bringing supplies and small gifts from where she came. Eventually Roh accepted her company when his pack of pokemon started escorting her to his cabin, where his door was left open awaiting Lynx. It didn't take long after that Lynx confessed she had feelings for Roh to him.

Kalli: Her big brother that she can count on for anything. Lynx loves him to the moon and back, looking up to him as her personal mentor. She follows his philosophy that any/all pokemon are beautiful and can be useful even if they are not the flashiest. It makes Lynx happy when Kalli invites her to do first aid classes at his place, and will drop everything to do so. 

Professor Star: Lynx has nothing but the upmost respect for her, looking to her as a second mother like figure. She sends her research to her whenever she comes back from travelling and loves having discussions with her over tea.

The Moxie kids: She is amused by the eldest three children and how they fight yet are close knit. She has offered up her services to help them out when they needed it. She does feel horrible however that she met them a few months after a brief meeting with their father and could not assist them with a general direction. 

Moni and Lan duo: Lynx has shown up at the duo's property a time or two when they need assistance with a sickly or highly injured animal. She respects Lan like an older brother and typically gets spoiled by him with little treats. Her and Moni have been known to cause trouble a time or two, particularly when it comes to letting their pokemon run amok, usually in the form of excessive hugging.

Arina: The two came across each other during their travels; Lynx appreciates having a skilled ranger to travel with, Arina acts as the muscle while Lynx is the medic. Lynx knows how to fill the silence when traveling but is fine having quiet distance as well.

Her babies:

  älskling (aka Old man)

- Species: Luxray
- Personality: Grumpy and protective.... but mostly grumpy
- History: Lynx's very first and oldest pokemon. She obtained älskling when he was a little Shinx at a young age and watched him evolve into a Luxio and eventually the Luxray he is today. You will never find Lynx without älskling being within shouting range; he is extremelly loyal to her and will always protect her from harm. This does get troublesome when she has to handle injured pokemon and they attack out of fear (Keeping him from tearing them in two). This is also why not many people flirt with the young nurse, as älskling will insist on there being extra space between them, with lots of excessive growling. He tends to also growl at the other pokemon when they get too playful but usually doesn't pay them much mind. He came around and is okay with Roh, seeing how happy Lynx was with him. älskling never spends time in a pokeball.

  Yggdrasil (Aka: creeper stare-bear, aka floofy bean, aka Mr. Yggy-dressy)

- Species: Espurr
- Personality: Clingy, twitchy, stares into your soooooul
- History: Yggdrasil is... weird. When met with new people he tends to stare pointingly and not much else until Lynx makes him shake and play nice. He prefers to sit in Lynx's lap whenever possible and stare into the void while begging for treats. He has been entered into a number of pageants because Lynx insists that "Mr. Yggy-dressy wants to; just look at that face!" and surprisingly has won one or two in his lifetime. Lynx obtained him from the shelters after he failed to cooperate with others, as long as hes not asked much he does just fine with her.

  Huginn (aka huggy bell)

- Species: Chingling
- Personality: Curious, Onery, playful
- History: The youngest of the pokemon, Huginn tends to try mimicing what the mew Muninn is doing despite their difference in abilities/size.  Often times if he doesn't receive enough attention he will do something to get it (such as run off, knock things over, or just generally try to make a lot of noise at the other pokemon; älskling has commonly hit Huginn with his tail to make him go away) 

  Muninn (aka MunMew)

- Species: Mew
- Personality: Playful, high-spirited
- History: Muninn is another pokemon Lynx caught fairly young. She had heard tales of the pokemon and wished to find one but never thought possible until one of her travels took her far away from home. Muninn appeared to her momentarily before disappearing again, making Lynx think she was seeing things before it reappeared. Lynx chased the creature for a long game of hide and seek and eventually caught them. She named the mew Muninn after one of Odin's ravens that scoured the world (Later naming her chingling after the other crow since they are inseperable). Despite knowing how potentially powerful Muninn is, Lynx won't use them for combat and instead uses Muninn for pageants. Muninn likes to disappear and reappear at will for long games of hide and seek, as well as taking off with extra treats whenever they can. 

  Freya (Aka: Ms. snooty booty)

- Species: Espeon
- Personality: Snobbish, attention needing, glares from high spots
- History: Freya is almost like a snobbish house cat. She doesn't like to travel for a long period of time and is the only pokemon in the crew that insists that she gets to stay in her pokemon ball at all times unless they are camped for the night, then spend the wntire time glaring and watching everyone from a high perch. When Freya does finally decide she wants attention she will just come up and jump into somebodys lap and make herself comfortable, despite what they are doing. She loves treats, being groomed and spoiled. When Lynx is at home she will find her favorite place in the house and stare. She does warm up to Roh's Umbreon eventually and will sleep by its side when they are visiting.

  Mimir (Aka Mim)

- Speces: Elgyem
- Personality: Shy, smart, helpful
- History: Mim is very sweet; He was another rescue pokemon that Lynx took in after his prior owners could not properly take care of him. After she obtained him she found him to be incredibly smart and always willing to help around the house. He does tend to get tired during the travels so Lynx will let him stay in the ball during long trips, but will release him as soon as they reach town. Mim competes in contests (But only occassionally since he doesn't like crowds). People who tend to get aggressive around Lynx may find themselves with a sudden headache if Mim is out.
